review: Rimmel Nail Polish

Rimmel London Salon Pro, Kate Collection, in Soul Session.

I've irrevocably fallen in love with this nail polish, it's so lush! Not only is it an ultra-feminine couleur mignonne (it's just that cute, I have to describe it in french), but it's also long-lasting and high-shine.

It's a lovely, subtle shade, almost with a nude, lilac undertone. It's been 3 days since I applied this colour, and so far, absolutely no chips! It may have partially been down to the topcoat I applied, but other nail polishes I've tried with the same topcoat just don't compare on that level.
This is drugstore beauty at its best: it's crazy affordable (~£4.49) and the quality and colour are uh-ma-zing. As someone who takes their nail colour very seriously, this is definitely a new favourite.

It's sweet and romantic, like those daydreams you get when you imagine you're languidly wandering down the Champs-Élysées to the French lull of Juliette Gréco... ah, c'est le paradis

Love x.

mind palace.

[first post]

Hi friends! Welcome to my new blog, Divine and Conquer.
This blog is a compilation of all the elements in life that intrigue and inspire me - fashion, beauty, lifestyle, media, culture... It's a visual archive of words, emotions, memories, reactions and opinions - tangible and ready to be digested by all you netizens.

If you know me well, you'll know I've attempted to start a million and more blogs and given up within days - perhaps something that I shouldn't admit. BUT! I have a really good feeling about this blog! I may need a virtual nudge to remember to update frequently and consistently, but nonetheless, I hope everyone enjoys.

Love x.
